As of Thursday night the line has inched up to 2.5 and the total is all the way up to 133. So far, 65% of the betting public is on VCU and 53% are on the under. Here are the latest trends for this game:

Bulldogs are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Bulldogs are 15-2 ATS in their last 17 neutral site games.

My Prediction: The first game in tonight’s Final Four pits two teams that noboby expected to be here. One could argue that VCU has been the most dominant team in the tournament, but the Final Four is a different animal. Butler brings a boat load of experience back from last year’s Championship run losing to Duke in the final. Butler’s defense will clamp down on VCU’s motion offense and will once again play for a National Championship.

Butler -2.5
