The top two contenders will meet on Thursday Night Football when Chiefs (9-4 SU, 6-7 ATS) visit the Los Angeles Chargers (8-5 SU, 7-6 ATS) at SoFi Stadium, beginning at 8:20 PM ET on Fox and the NFL Network. Kansas City is a 3.5-point favorite with a total of 51 as of Monday afternoon.

After a sluggish start to 2021, the Chiefs have reeled-off six straight wins at 4-2 ATS, including last Sunday’s 48-9 triumph over the Las Vegas Raiders as 10-point home favorites. Patrick Mahomes has improved since the beginning of the season and so has the defense and special teams.
The Chargers have one of the top offenses in the league behind quarterback Justin Herbert, but their defense and special teams need to improve vastly. Last Sunday’s 37-21 win over the New York Giants as 9-point favorites was a step in the right direction. The bad news during the win was the Chargers lost star RB Austin Ekeler (left ankle) in the third quarter.
