If Sunday’s game was any indication, the New York Knicks are going to have their hands full on Wednesday when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Arena. New York got routed 125-109 as 8-point underdogs at Madison Square Garden. Joel Embiid led all scorers with 37 points for Philadelphia, while James Harden posted his first triple-double (29 points, 10 rebounds, 16 assists) as a member of the 76ers.

The Knicks (25-36 SU, 26-35 ATS) will come into this contest as 10.5-point underdogs with a total of 224. Even with Derrick Rose (ankle) still unable to play, Kemba Walker (personal) was shut down for the remainder of the season, leaving the club without their top two point guards. Nerlens Noel was also a late scratch Sunday, reportedly because of plantar fasciitis. Jericho Sims and Mitchell Robinson were no match underneath for Embiid.
As for the Sixers (37-23 SU, 30-29-1 ATS), they are now legitimate title contenders now that Embiid and Harden have been paired together. They have won five of six games (4-2 ATS) since acquiring Harden and Paul Millsap from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round draft picks.

Jay’s Pick: We saw how dominate Philadelphia was Sunday afternoon in New York as 8.5-point favorites. Now, they are only 10.5-point favorites at home? The Knicks had no answer for Embiid or Harden and I don’t see that changing in this contest.
