Boise State has had a decent season, but nothing like they’re used to. They definitely missed Ashton Jeanty in the backfield, but Maddux Madsen has helped this team to eight wins. The problem here, is that the level of competition in this L.A. Bowl is a lot higher than what the Broncos have seen since September. Boise has a couple of really bad losses in conference and the team didn’t even show up in their two biggest non-conference games. Washington has a very explosive offense that is going to be too much for Boise to handle. They also rank 21st in points allowed and will give Madsen fits. The Broncos may keep it close for a half, but the Huskies will be too good defensively in the second half and cruise to victory.
