Despite their 8-12 start, they’re hitting the ball well as they are ranked 6th in the majors in both runs scored and batting average. Their pitching is also near the top of the league with a 3.55 ERA. The problem is their defense right now. They have committed a league high 20 errors. Tonight’s starter is Sonny Gray who has been brilliant in 3 of his 4 outings. He got shelled by Kansas City for 11 hits and 4 runs in 6 innings a week and a half ago.
