The AFC South has been one of the weaker divisions for the last decade, but that is slowly changing. All four teams have young talented starting quarterbacks all 24 years or younger. The Texans were the third different team in three seasons to win the division, following Jacksonville and Tennessee. Is it Indianapolis’ turn? We’ll see.

AFC SOUTH PREDICTIONS
Division Winner Pick:
I really like this Houston team. They are coming off a division title with a Rookie of the Year quarterback and Rookie of the Year pass rusher. They bolstered the defense and got wide receiver Stefon Diggs. This team has all the tools to make a run at the Chiefs, Bills and Ravens for the conference title.
Pick: Texans -120
Season Win Total Pick:
I think this will be a rough season for the Colts. They made a nice run with a backup QB last season, but the defense was horrible and didn’t improve much in the offseason. Anthony Richardson may be good some day, but he’s really still a rookie after missing so much time last season and has a lot to learn. I see four winnable games on the schedule, but they’re not locks. I can’t see this team finishing with a winning record.
