The Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Boston Celtics are expected battle all season long for the Atlantic Division title and are currently separated by just a half-game, and all three have perfect home records. The 76ers will visit the Raptors on Monday night for the first time since losing Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals last Spring, but come into this contest with some momentum. Philly has won four straight after an impressive 113-86 triumph over Southeast Division-leading Miami on Saturday. The Philadelphia defense is surrendering 105.1 points a game, but have each opponent under that average during the winning streak and tail Toronto and Boston by a half-game. The Raptors are also playing good defense and that’s helped them win three in a row after a 119-116 win at Atlanta on Saturday night. Not only is Toronto 5-1 ATS in home games this season, they are a perfect 7-0 ATS on one day of rest, which they’ll have on Monday. The Sixers were 1-3 SU and 2-2 ATS in the four games at Scotiabank Arena in last season’s Eastern semis.

Philadelphia’s starting five of Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson were all a +28 or better, as the Sixers put forth one of their best efforts of the season. Richardson had missed two games last week with a hip injury but returned Saturday and recorded a season-high 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting in 28 minutes, including 6-of-7 from beyond the arc. The Sixers, who shoot 35.6 percent from long range on the season, nailed 14-of-29 against a very good Heat team. Harris and Horford combined to go 14-of-20 from the floor, but shooting guard Furkan Korkmaz (ankle) sat out Saturday and is day-to-day. Philly returns home on Wednesday to take on the Sacramento Kings.

Toronto has struggled on the road this season including Saturday’s tough win in Atlanta, but will play five of their next six at home, where they are 6-0. Guard Fred VanVleet logged a team-high 43 minutes against Atlanta and recorded 25 points and nine assists, but forward Pascal Siakam led the way with 34 points on 11-of-18 shooting. The Raptors have still been without star guard Kyle Lowry (thumb) and power forward Serge Ibaka (ankle) for the past seven games and both are at least a few days from returning to the lineup. Toronto will host the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

With the Raptors still banged-up, I have to side with the Sixers in this rematch of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Philly is finally healthy and are on a roll.
