Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins
Sun, 1pm, CBS
Line: Dolphins by 3
I was wrong last week taking the Dolphins over the Redskins. I don’t see Miami pulling off a three-game winning streak, though, especially considering the Bills are now in a much better situation thanks to the Jets loss. The Bills need to look at the week one blueprint the Pats laid down for beating Miami and follow suit. They have the talent to do it… if they can put it all together.
Pick: Buffalo 34, Miami 20

Carolina Panthers @ Detroit Lions
Sun, 1pm, FOX
Line: Lions by 7
Detroit needs to get back on track and take advantage of one of the few easy games they have remaining on their schedule. Carolina certainly isn’t a pushover, but the Lions should be able to take the touchdown victory proposed by Vegas.
Pick: Detroit 27, Carolina 17

Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens
Sun, 1pm, CBS
Line: Ravens by 7
The Bengals enter game two of their brutal four-game jaunt through their division, and they’ll be facing a Ravens team that will be piping mad after their loss to Seattle. Baltimore had seemingly gained the upper hand over Pittsburgh in the AFC North, only to give that up the very next week. With San Fran coming to town Thanksgiving night, this is a definite must-win for the Ravens.
Pick: Baltimore 24, Cincinnati 7

Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins
Sun, 1pm, FOX
Line: Cowboys by 8
Fresh off their thrashing of Buffalo, the Cowboys now get a reeling Redskins team. The game looks right for a blow out, but I’m not so sure in a rivalry game on the road that Dallas will manage to cover a surprisingly high spread for the NFL.
Pick: Dallas 21, Washington 17

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cleveland Browns
Sun, 1pm, CBS
Line: Jaguars by 1
I don’t know if there are two teams I like less with regards to picking games than the Browns and Jags. A one point line is a virtual pick’em, so let’s say Cleveland. Unless Jacksonville wins. In which case I take Jacksonville.
Pick: Cleveland 6, Jacksonville 3

Oakland Raiders @ Minnesota Vikings
Sun, 1pm, CBS
Line: Raiders by 1
Oakland certainly has the inside track on the AFC West, and this is a game that division winners that want to be considered legitimate playoff threats need to win. Meanwhile the Vikings are moving up in the draft order, which will only help Christian Ponder and Adrian Peterson return to relevancy next season.
Pick: Oakland 23, Minnesota 17

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Green Bay Packers
Sun, 1pm, FOX
Line: Packers by 14.5
Can you say 10-0?
Pick: Green Bay 38, Tampa Bay 14

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49’ers
Sun, 4:05pm, FOX
Line: 49’ers by 10
I’m certainly on the Niners bandwagon after they managed to push the Giants around last week. That said, Arizona is playing much better in the last couple of weeks and should be able to at least keep this NFC West showdown close enough to cover.
Pick: San Francisco 23, Arizona 16

LIMITED TIME BETTING OFFER!

Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams
Sun, 4:05pm, FOX
Line: Rams by 3
Last year, this was the game that decided the division title. This year? It will decide who gets the better draft pick. I’ll take the Rams to get the better pick, so I’ll take the Seahawks to get the win.
Pick: Seattle 20, St. Louis 17

San Diego Chargers @ Chicago Bears
Sun, 4:15pm, CBS
Line: Bears by 4
Jay Cutler has found a rhythm, the defense has suddenly returned to a vintage 2007 level, and the Bears as a whole have the look of a team that could suddenly make some noise in the NFC playoffs. This will be a great test for Chicago against a Chargers team that desperately needs to right the ship after losing four straight. Expect some scoring in this one.
Pick: Chicago 34, San Diego 27

Tennessee Titans @ Atlanta Falcons
Sun, 4:15pm, CBS
Line: Falcons by 7
Tennessee has a much better shot at a playoff berth now that Houston’s Schaub is now out for the year. A win on the road here would be huge, but Atlanta needs it just as much with Chicago and Dallas now playing better football. Titans can still make the postseason with a loss – I’m not so sure the Falcons can. There’s the difference.
Pick: Atlanta 24, Tennessee 20

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
Sun, 8:20pm, NBC
Line: Giants by 5.5
It’s a close race between the Eagles and Jets for most disappointing team – though perhaps the Chargers might also be in the mix. Philadelphia can help spoil the Giants season, however, if they can go on the road and do something they haven’t been able to do much of all season – play a good fourth quarter. It’ll be tough to do with questions at quarterback against a good New York defense that’s outperformed the expected play from their secondary.
Pick: New York 28, Philadelphia 17

Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots
Mon, 8:30pm, ESPN
Line: Patriots by 15
The book is out on how to beat the Pats, but the Chiefs won’t be able to pull off the upset in Foxboro with inferior talent. That said, 15 points is a bit too high for my blood, so Pats win and Chiefs cover.
Pick: New England 27, Kansas City 14

Straight Up: 94-51
Against Spread: 72-63-10
