Blackjack is a very popular card game, which is sometimes also known as one-twenty among Czech players. Each player in blackjack plays against the dealer, and the goal of the game is to beat the dealer – that is, to get the value of the cards as close as possible to the number 21. However, if the sum of the card values is higher than 21, the player immediately loses. Face cards are worth 10, Aces are worth 1 or 11 – whichever combination is more appropriate in the given situation. If you have a total of 21 (ace and 10) immediately after the deal, you are said to have blackjack.
Baccarat
Baccarat is not as widespread in the Czech Republic as other table games. Which is a great shame – baccarat should definitely not escape your attention. It is a card game where the banker and the player face each other.
The goal of the game is to get as close as possible to the value of 9 and outplay your opponent.
The most common types of Baccarat are Punto Banco, Chemin de Fer and Baccarat Banque. Punto banco always has exact rules for every situation, so it really is a game of chance. In the other two types of baccarat, there is a possibility of choosing a third card in some situations, so there is room for tactics. Punto banco is not encountered in online casinos, because here one of the players acts as the banker. Which, of course, is not possible in an online casino, and only the dealer can deal the cards.
