The San Antonio Spurs can’t seem to gather any momentum in the win column, but they’ll have a nice opportunity to string together some wins as they play seven of their next eight games at home beginning with the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night. San Antonio has traded wins and losses for the last 11 games, but are an NBA-best 19-2 at home and haven’t lost a game at AT&T Center since November 10th. San Antonio ended a three-game road trip on a sour note, dropping an 86-83 decision at Toronto on Friday while shooting 34.1% from the floor. The Spurs are averaging 107 points on 48.2% shooting in 21 home games but just 96 points and 43.3% shooting away from AT&T Center. The Pacers are wrapping-up a five game road trip that saw them take the first two in Phoenix and Utah, but have dropped the last two games at Portland and Los Angeles (Lakers) while scoring just 86 points in each. Indiana averaged 114.5 in winning at Phoenix and Utah but shot a combined 38.8% from the floor against the Trail Blazers and Lakers in a back-to-back. The Pacers took the first game of the season series in Indianapolis back on October 29th as four starters scored at least 12 points led by Victor Oladipo’s 23.

Part of Indiana’s shooting woes came from the three-point line where they were a putrid 2-of-25. The Pacers weren’t much better with a 7-of-26 effort from long range at Portland on Thursday and leading scorer Oladipo is a combined 2-of-14 in the last two games after nailing 7-of-12 from beyond the arc in the first two stops on the trip. Reserve swingman Lance Stephenson is having a tough road trek, averaging four points after going 1-of-18 from the floor over the last two games. Forward Bojan Bogdanovic isn’t much better, shooting 2-of-10 from 3-point range over the last two games as well.

The Pacers have covered each of the last 4 matchups.

San Antonio is leaning on power forward LaMarcus Aldridge to lead the offense in the absence of star Kawhi Leonard, who is out again with a thigh injury. Aldridge was just 6-of-25 from the floor in Friday’s loss to the Raptors, but is averaging 22.6 points on 48.9% shooting for the season and still led the Spurs in scoring with 17 points at Toronto. Kyle Anderson is trying to fill in for Leonard and matched a career high with 11 rebounds on Friday. San Antonio could get shooting guard Manu Ginobili (thigh) back on Sunday after sitting out the last two games.

NBA SCORES – ODDS – PUBLIC PLAYS

Indiana is tired of being on the road and it showed the last two nights. The Spurs are not the same team without Leonard, but they are still better than the Pacers and they’re almost unbeatable at home.
