We have an NFC North rivalry game this Sunday night when the Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field, beginning at 8:20 PM ET on NBC. The Packers have already clinched the division, but Minnesota is scrambling just to make the playoffs. The Packers are laying the full seven points at press time after opening at -6.5, and the total has jumped from 46.5 to 48.5.
It’s January, so you know the field in Lambeau will be frozen. Temperatures are expected to be around 10 degrees at kick-off. The long-range forecast also calls for crosswinds of up to 15 mph blowing towards the southeast corner of the stadium. However, the snowy conditions should be gone by Sunday morning, with skies clearing throughout the game as temperatures drop.
The Packers (12-3 SU, 11-4 ATS) are currently the NFC’s No. 1 seed heading into Week 17, which is no longer the last week of the regular season. The Vikings (7-8 SU, 8-7 ATS) are one of several teams fighting over the last Wild Card spot in the NFC. They are behind 8-7 San Francisco and Philadelphia.
