A potential playoff spot is on the line for the Arizona Cardinals this Saturday when they host the Indianapolis Colts, beginning at 8:15 PM ET on NFL Network. The Cardinals are 1.5-point favorites as of Tuesday afternoon after opening at -4, with the total pegged at 49.
Arizona missed an opportunity to clinch a postseason berth this past Sunday, but they were shocked 30-12 at the lowly Detroit Lions as 13-point road favorites. Now they’ll need a victory this Saturday, plus some help to go to the playoffs for the first time since 2015. Defensive end Jordan Phillips (knee) and wide receiver Rondale Moore (ankle) were both injured in Detroit, so their status for Week 16 is up in the air, while star WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) will miss the remainder of the regular season.
The Colts (8-6 SU, 9-5 ATS) are on fire after beating the New England Patriots 27-17 last Saturday as 1-point home favorites. Center Ryan Kelly (personal) didn’t play for Indianapolis despite coming off the COVID-19 list, but otherwise, the Colts are relatively healthy for their playoff push. They’re one of several 8-6 teams tied for the three AFC Wild Card spots.
