Bovada NBA Odds & Free Pick: Grizzlies Host Nets on ESPN

The Brooklyn Nets are starting to play a lot better basketball now that Kevin Durant is healthy, but they’ll have their hands full on Wednesday. The Nets head to Memphis to take on Ja Morant and the Grizzlies at 7:30 ET on ESPN.

The Nets (38-34 SU, 30-40-2 ATS) are 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS since Durant made his return from a six-week layoff, but that still leaves them eighth in the Eastern Conference, four games out of the last guaranteed playoff spot with 11 games left in the regular season. Ben Simmons (back) might not make his Brooklyn debut until the end of the regular season, and Kyrie Irving (anti-vax) still isn’t allowed to play in New York, but should be available to play in Memphis.

They haven’t clinched a playoff spot yet, but the Grizzlies (49-23 SU, 46-26 ATS) are in great shape heading into the postseason. They are second second in the Western Conference standings, winning five of their past six games (3-3 ATS). Morant has played nearly as well as Durant this year, although he’s currently experiencing issues with his right knee and might not be available for Wednesday. If he can’t go, Tyus Jones will start at point guard.

Jay’s Pick: I’ll take the Nets in this one. Ja Morant is OUT for Memphis and the Nets will have Irving in the lineup. Brooklyn is playing well now.
